SOUL approaches and technologies assist members to locally produce and consume their food, energy and other basic needs in ways that are healthier for the body, society and the planet.

The organization has its roots in Johannesburg, with a diverse group of families and friends from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. It has now expanded to include members operating in different countries of Africa and Europe.

SOUL mission is to contribute to a healthy, sustainable and just collective future where the spiritual, social, economic and environmental well-being of all peoples is catered for.

SOUL’s efforts are to bring awareness to solutions and means that individuals, families, communities and businesses can operate sustainably while also looking after the environment. At SOUL we encourage sharing of knowledge on means of developing systems in which can produce organic food, without wastage or chemicals. We have invested greatly in self-contained systems that can efficiently produce herbs and vegetables efficiently even in limited spaces. Furthermore, we are conducting a lot of research in renewable sources like biogas as a viable means of alternative energy sources. The aim being to uplift people from different cultural and socio-economic groups to lead them towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
